MASTER PLAN. ZONING AND PRESERVATION GUIDLINES
YEAR 2017
With Gyumri Project Hope and the Armenian government (under the leadership of Karen Karapetyan and his team), we developed a comprehensive preservation and development document for the Kumayri Historical Core of Gyumri.
As part of the project, two pilot streets—Rustaveli and Shiraz—were selected, for which our multidisciplinary team created a detailed masterplan, zoning strategy, and monument preservation guidelines.
The project unfolded in several stages and with various approaches, but the result was transformative: it shifted perceptions and attitudes toward Gyumri, giving the city a renewed spirit and identity that continues to thrive today.
